Dune! My all-time favourite sci-fi series. I’ve lost count of the times I’ve read the first one. Lousy film, though; too much emphasis on the physical violence, too little on the “spirituality” and the emotional, psychological violence it can promote, unwittingly or not. Evocative depicition of the desert planet Dune, though.
Back to the question. I mirror doesn’t look at anything, it reflects what we see. But we see only what we want to see, and that’s the catch.
